The One Health paradigm
Population health is inseparable from animal health and the ecosystems we share. This course connects those domains through applied methods and field practice.
Human systems
Epidemiology, resilient health infrastructure, and policy in diverse socio-economic settings.
Zoonotic interfaces
Spillover risk, veterinary public health, and agricultural practices that shape biosecurity.
Ecological resilience
Climate-sensitive vectors, water security, and environmental interventions that protect health.
Case work
Applied case work & field learning
Throughout the week, interdisciplinary groups integrate classroom teaching with case studies, laboratory sessions, and supervised field visits.
- Work through a structured One Health case study in facilitated groups
- Visit abattoir, poultry, CSIR, and KCCR sites with programme facilitators
- Present group findings and receive your modular certificate on 18 September
